Happy Cinco de Mayo

Whether it’s a family function or business trip you can always make memories!!  With memories it always brings to our mind the need to capture the moment, preserve the laugh and craft our lives for years to come.  We recently celebrated Cinco De Mayo while away from the office at a conference. A few costumes, hats and business cards and a photo worth a 1000 words!  MUCH FUN!!

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for “fifth of May”) is a holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla. While Cinco de Mayo sees limited significance and celebration nationwide in Mexico, the date is observed

nationwide in the United States and other locations around the world as
a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

It didn’t take long for us to figure out that we would scrapbook this photo with embellishments from some of the following products, they may help you with your Cinco de Mayo or other festive projects!  Slice Design Card – Words & Expressions, Holiday, Cricut Cartridge Designer’s Calendar, Cricut Cartridge Graphically Speaking & to add some dimension and sparkle to your page,we will certainly be including some of our new Funky Film!!

Did you know??  Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day, the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico.
