Autumn Acorn Flower Vase Tutorial

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

My favorite thing to craft is home decor projects and I knew just what I needed! (Not that I really need any more home decor  :::wink wink:::  ) Since the farmers markets are still going on and I buy fresh flowers almost every week, I figured why not make an Autumn vase!
Autumn Acorn Flower Vase Tutorial
I am totally head over heals with burlap right now and it adds a rustic feel to an originally simple glass vase. I started with a thick strip of burlap and then a strip of shimmery blown cardstock. Then I added a few rounds of hemp string.
For the leaf bunch, I cut out multiple leaves from my Straight From The Nest Cricut Cartridge and inked them using my Megan Elizabeth Wrap Me In Chocolate Ink Edger! If I haven’t stressed this before, these Ink Edgerz ROCK and I use them all the time! Then for a real touch of fall I hot glued on an acorn from my neighbors yard. After all that work, I gave it to my mom! She loved it so much and what mother says, goes! I decided since it was simple enough to make, I would just make another one in my kitchen colors.
Here is my very own (I’m not giving this one up!) Autumn vase for my kitchen table. It looks great and will look even better with a few white pumpkins around it!
What Autumn touches would you add to your vase?
Here’s what I used and a link to buy it for yourself:
