Hello everyone and happy Friday! Ya-hoo! Can you believe that October is almost half over already! It’s crazy how time flies! All month long we are featuring “pink” projects created by featured design team members (from DCWV, Hampton Arts, Graphic 45, & more) in honor of breast cancer awareness. Today I thought I would share a project created by one of our very own Craft-e-Corner design team members…ME!
Every since I was pregnant and knew it was a girl, I have gone a little color crazy. I am not a huge fan of pastel and baby pinks so Lauren’s room is a bright teal with pops of hot pink and lime green! This name tag is the perfect representation of Lauren and her room!
Here is a picture of my little pretty in pink Lo that I speak so highly of…
Love her <3
For this project I used papers from the Echo Park Summer Days Collection.
It’s packed with fun & vibrant colors!
…and for the letters I used American Crafts Glitter Thickers!
For the hanger I used an old broken necklace! I love to recycle whenever I can. I wrapped it around a 3M Gem and used hot glue to glue it into place.
One of my favorite parts of this project is the polka dot border I made using my Smash tape (Washi Tape)!
Polka dots, glitter letters & hot pink! What a combination…
Oh and I can’t forget, to cut all my papers I used my PINK Westcott Paper Trimmer!
I hope you loved the project and are inspired by the color combinations!
Make sure to check out Craft-e-Corner all month long for some super great sales and remember, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to support breast cancer, so craft for a great cause this month!
