Valentine’s Day is in the air, and so too is LOVE….Awe. More like…what happened to the last month?? I still haven’t gotten my Christmas decorations down! I am planning on doing that this evening as a matter of fact, but as soon as they come down, I will be pulling out my Valentine’s Day décor. How many of you decorate for Valentine’s Day? In my family, we celebrate my youngest son’s birthday on the 11th, Valentine’s Day on the 14th, and then my husband and I have our anniversary on the 17th, so it really is a “LOVEY-DOVEY” month at our house.
As I begin to unpack decorations, for any holiday really, I contemplate the fact that I need more! Every holiday, every year, but then I remember how cheap I am, so I always fall back on what I will “DIY”. Then the ideas really start flowing. I grab my phone, and begin exploring my favorite site-Pinterest of course, and see wonderful, amazing ideas, and I am pumped up to get right into crafting. Oh, wait, I didn’t realize I just wasted two hours gazing into the abyss of ideas, and didn’t get a single decoration put up, nor did I even begin to start making anything new….Now it’s time for kids to get ready for bed, and lunches to be made..etc…etc…it never ends. I bet a few of you can relate to that.
Now, as this applies to this post…I also am the marketing person for Craft-e-Corner, and we also sometimes run short on time. Now in order to combat this, we would like to extend to you the opportunity to help us by sharing your wonderful, amazing craft ideas via photos! We love crafts and we love sharing them with you!
